The Only Bones solo concept is a minimalist physical theater project developed by Thom Monckton, which is based on given parameters, which each artist can either break or fulfill at will. The original instructions are: "only one light, no narration, no set, no props, no text and all in a limited space". The artists are then left with their own skills to create their own unique world within the concept.
We are making a contemporary circus performance and the first duo version out of it:

Only Bones 2.0.
We explore what different characters/animals and associations we can find with our bodies through the means of circus, dance and pair acrobatics, playing on the boundaries of light and dark. We take advantage of the possibilities of one single lamp by exploring different ways to use it inventively as part of the performance.
