The performance reflects on our time, which seems to have turned backwards — a kind of degeneration of humanity. Everyone is striving for ultimate fulfilment: the moment when effort ends and everything is finally complete. In pursuit of that goal, people walk over one another without regard for the consequences.

Only Bones 2.0 plays with the boundaries between light and shadow, and with the extreme limits of physicality. Acrobatics and dance merge into a breathing whole in which body, space, and light create an entire world on stage. The result is simultaneously virtuosic, intimate, and exposed.

The work is based on the internationally acclaimed Only Bones solo concept created by Thom Monckton. This minimalist physical theatre project is built on simple rules: one light, no set pieces, no props, no text, and no narrative — all within a confined space. Within these limitations, each artist creates their own unique world.
